What is ECONYL®?
ECONYL® is regenerated nylon made from 100% recycled waste such as fishing nets, plastic waste and discarded fabrics, which can be recycled many times over.
It is estimated that around 640,000 tonnes of fishing nets are discarded in the ocean, and ECONYL® picks up these nets to clean the ocean and prevent marine life from becoming entangled in the nets.
ECONYL® is a sustainable fiber that avoids the use of CO2 and oil more than nylon and reduces the impact of global warming by up to 80%.
